Forum "Engineering Technologies" is consolidating its position during recent years as the Central exhibition venue, where Russian and foreign companies - manufacturers of armaments and military equipment, production of double and civil purpose present their advanced developments.

The demonstration on the forum in the framework of the specialized exhibition "Oboronexpo-2014" of the domestic new products, often surpassing in its characteristics the foreign analogues, is a vivid evidence of the impact of the policy pursued by the President and the government of the Russian Federation on ensuring the security of the state. Doubly gratifying is the fact that these modern samples of production of the defense-industrial complex have already serve to protect the borders of our Motherland.

One of the important results of the Forum should become the interested dialogue of power and business community on the development of constructive proposals aimed at solving the problems of the import substitution, strict execution of the State defense order, increase the responsibility of the enterprises of the industry for quality and timeliness of deliveries.

I am sure that the Forum "Engineering Technologies - 2014", as before, will demonstrate the latest achievements of engineering, will strengthen Russia's positions on the world markets of weapons and military equipment, will make a significant contribution to Patriotic education of youth.
