I am glad to welcome you and congratulate you on the opening of the forum.
The forum has brought together a wide range of participants, including CEOs of leading engineering companies, members of business communities, and officials from Russia and foreign countries. Some unique military and civil technologies will be shown as part of the exhibition program among the latest achievements of the Russian defense industry which, I am sure, will be of interest to foreign experts.
Modernization in machine-building is one of our primary goals and it requires attracting investments, expanding international scientific cooperation and exchanging high-end technologies.
The Forum will contribute to reaching our targets by promoting Russian high-tech products and by developing contacts between businessmen of different countries.
