I welcome all the participants of the Forum dedicated to questions of national engineering modernization!
The machine-building complex of Russia has strategic importance for our country. Its efficiency directly influences the building of industrial capacity of the state, the dynamics of economic growth, the solution of many social problems.
Today, we face a major challenge of modernization of national economy. In order to effectively meet it, we need to use innovative potential of the Russian engineering to the fullest, widely introduce new developments of scientists, designers and engineers.
The Forum organizers represented by the Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation and Russian Technologies State Corporation with the participation of the Russian Engineering Union have, for the first time, assembled the large-scale specialized exhibitions at one area, giving a comprehensive idea of innovative technologies and hi-tech equipment used while creating civilian industry and military products.
I hope that the Forum's expositions and its highly informative Business Program will attract great interest of experts, promote competitive growth of national engineering products, and strengthen international business relations.
